The Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors and Northeast Oklahoma Real Estate Services recently held their 2013 Installation and Awards Banquet at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. GTAR Past President Gary Griffith, with Coldwell Banker Select, was the master of ceremonies for the event, which was attended by more than 425 members.
The 2013 presidents of GTAR and NORES were installed: Susan Beach, with Keller Williams Realty, will be serving as GTAR president, and Julie Tetsworth, with Coldwell Banker Select, will be serving as NORES president. During the event, 30-, 40- and 50-year GTAR members were recognized.
Keller Williams Realtor Axay Parekh was named GTAR 2012 Sales Associate of the Year, and Allen Stout, with OklaHomes Realty Inc., was named GTAR 2012 Realtor of the Year.
In addition, McGraw Realtor Gordon Everage was presented with the Committee Chair Award for his work as chairperson of the urban affairs committee.
The Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors is a real estate organization whose Northeast Oklahoma members provide services and promote education, professionalism and ethical standards in order to assist members in better serving the public and protecting the free enterprise system and private property rights.
