Warren J. Welker, age 92, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Stone Brook Assisted Living in Denison, TX. He was born on October 11, 1920, in Seneca, MO, to Clarence Jack and Edith Norris Welker. Warren was preceded in death by wife, Ann Louise Welker, wife, Clara Dean Welker, his parents, two sisters, Zelpha Patton and Margie Clampitt, and a brother, Calvin Welker. He is survived by sons, Larry Welker and wife, Donna of Owasso, OK; Jack Welker and wife, Linda of Tulsa, OK; a daughter, Gretchen Renne and husband, Larry of Van Alstyne, TX; five grandchildren, Mark Welk- er of Tulsa; Jodi Hough of Howe, TX; Jenny Bien of Chandler, TX; Tiffany O’Donnell of Bixby, OK; and Amber Fairless of Dallas, TX; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a brother, Norris J. Welker of Tulsa, OK. A celebration of Warren’s life will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX. Family visitation will be held preceding the services from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Cannon Cemetery, east of Van Alstyne.
