A first-degree murder charge was filed Wednesday against a Tulsa man who is accused of killing his grandmother while he was under the influence of drugs.

Prosecutors allege that Antoine Jermaine Jackson, 35, killed Arlevia Jackson at a residence in the 3200 block of North Wheeling Place on Jan. 29, according to Tulsa County District Court filings.

Antoine Jackson reportedly told emergency responders that he killed his grandmother, an arrest report says.

Police described him as “highly agitated and combative” and said he told police that he had “smoked water,” a street name for the drug PCP, the report says.

Court documents allege that Jackson killed his grandmother “by striking her and beating her about the head with a blunt force instrument.”

He remains in the Tulsa Jail without bail.
