A chance to continue as a two-sport athlete helped persuade Broken Arrow offensive lineman Bo Farrow to sign with Pittsburg State.
“I just felt that’s where I belong,” Farrow said.
Farrow was an Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State football selection and a World All-Metro second-team selection in 2012. In track and field, he won Class 6A state titles in shot put and discus last spring.
Farrow picked the Gorillas over a chance at playing major college football at Army. He plans on studying engineering.
“It is a big relief now,” Farrow said about signing day. “It was pretty stressful for a while, then I committed and the weight kind of lifted. Now that I’ve actually signed, it’s completely gone.”
