Notes: The law of averages caught up with the Sooners in their game at West Virginia last Sunday afternoon. They came in ranked third in the country with a 39.5 3-point percentage. In Morgantown, however, they went just 5-of-22 from distance. Without the outside shot, OU didn't have much of an answer for West Virginia's 23-5 first-half run. The Mountaineers took a 34-27 halftime lead and cruised home from there.

Despite the setback, OU continues to hold second place in the Big 12 Conference. The Wildcats have dropped five of their last seven contests, including an 89-80 double overtime game at home to Kansas last Saturday.

This is the Sooners' first trip to Manhattan since guard Aaryn Ellenberg put up 31 points and nine steals in a 65-57 victory over the Wildcats just over a year ago.
