Signing day: Memorial's Tyrone McGriff changes mind, headed to Alva

At the last minute, Memorial's Tyrone McGriff changed his decision from McPherson, Kan., College to join the caravan of teammates going to Northwestern in Alva., Okla.
Why did he switch?
“To be around my friends and I’m going into the sports medicine program and they (Northwestern) have that,” McGriff said.
The guard-tackle will be among teammates and focusing on a major McGriff wants to pursue.
