Signing day: Memorial's Chris Turner joining teammates in Alva

Memorial's Chris Turner got recruiting letters from Texas Tech, Friends University in Kansas, Tulsa and Northwestern in Alva, Okla. Why did he follow four other Chargers to Northwestern?
“They offered a full scholarship,” Turner said. “I’m also going to enjoy playing with my teammates. It’s going to be fun.”
Overall, the recruiting process was one Turner enjoyed.
“It was a great experience,” he said.
Turner is the first one of his family to sign a letter of intent.
