Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana said that the Republican Party's ideas were sound but the party had to stop being the stupid party and had to learn how to put forth its ideas in a kinder, gentler way.
My questions are:
How do you say to a homosexual in a gentler way that God hates you?
How do you say to a young woman who needs an abortion, God hates you too?
How do you tell an illegal alien that we really want to make you self-deport but we really like you?
How do you tell a woman in a gentler way that she's not worth the same pay as the man doing the same job?
How do you really make a black person feel like he's your equal?
Ideas lost the election for the Republicans and no amount of "messaging" can change what they really believe.
