To the voters in House District 76: The person you elected, David Brumbaugh, was not the education candidate. But apparently he thinks he knows all about the state of education in his district as he did not attend the Parents & Policymakers meeting held by the Parents Legislative Action Committee, nor did he participate in the Oklahoma Education Association's Giving Legislators an Education Experience Week in either of the school districts (Union and Broken Arrow) his district encompasses.
As his children attend private schools, it appears his interest in the education of the majority of his constituents is limited. I hope you remember this as the legislative session gets under way, and remember there is another election in less than two years so you can next elect someone who really cares about the education of the children of District 76.
