Police have identified a woman who was fatally shot in a Tulsa apartment Sunday.

Emily Clark, 22, was fatally shot about 7:30 p.m. at the Addison Apartments, 10114 E. Admiral Blvd., authorities said.

Chiquita Bianca Bulger, 23, was arrested on a first-degree murder complaint, jail records show.

Bulger told witnesses that she shot Clark because Clark "snitched," according to an arrest report.

One witness told police they were in his mother's apartment when Bulger approached Clark from behind and shot her, according to Bulger's arrest report.

Bulger then reportedly pointed the weapon at others before the witness took the gun from her.

The witness said his father took him and some children who were in the apartment to another location.

He later led police to a Dumpster, from which they recovered a 9 mm handgun believed used to kill Clark, reports indicate.

A second witness told police she heard the gunshot and ran to the front of the apartment, where she heard her brother ask Bulger why she had shot Clark. Bulger said Clark "snitched," the report states.

Detectives said Bulger gave inconsistent statements, initially telling them she was alone with Clark in the kitchen when the front door opened and someone shot Clark.

Police are "working on several theories" and are unsure "what the real reason was" for the homicide, Sgt. Dave Walker said Monday.

Walker said police had spoke with Clark earlier Sunday during "a mundane police contact."

Clark, who relocated to Tulsa from Neosho, Mo., established contact with Tulsa police in October, he said.

Bulger is in the Tulsa Jail. Bail has not been set on the murder complaint. She also is jailed on an outstanding warrant for larceny from a retailer.

Bulger pleaded guilty to embezzlement of less than $500 in 2009.

Clark is the 13th person slain in Tulsa this year.
