How sweet it was.
The 23rd annual Toyland Ball raised a record $500,000 for the vital programs and client services of The Parent Child Center of Tulsa.
Irene and Stan Burnstein were honorary chairs of the event held at the Hyatt Regency that featured a live auction, Moody's and Martinis event, and raffles courtesy of the Donna Dantini Witt Foundation and Rib Crib.
Guests also played heads and tails sponsored by Parallel Energy and danced to the music of Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screamin' Radishes. Jennifer Legler was event chairwoman.
Lisa Antry received the Guardian Angel Award, which honors an individual whose commitment to The Parent Child Center of Tulsa has made a significant difference in its mission to prevent child abuse and neglect through education, treatment and advocacy.
According to Executive Director Desiree Doherty: "The funds raised at Toyland Ball will make a huge difference on many levels to The Parent Child Center. These funds will sustain programs that have lost funding due to budget cuts at foundations and public entities.
