Mostly sunny skies forecast rest of Tulsa area's week

Tulsa World Weather: A new weather site powered by the Tulsa staff of the National Weather Service. The partnership allows Tulsa World readers to receive weather alerts, forecasts and current conditions as the staff issues them.
Tulsa's days are forecast to be mostly sunny through the weekend.
The National Weather Service forecasts mostly sunny skies with highs in the 50s today and Thursday, then mostly sunny skies with highs in the 40s Friday and Saturday, then mostly sunny skies with highs in the 60s Sunday.
Overnight temperatures are forecast for the 30s each night except Friday's overnight low in the mid-20s, according to the weather service.
Tulsa's highest temperature so far this month was 69 degrees on Feb. 5. Tulsa's lowest temperature was 16 degrees on Feb. 1.
Tulsa's next chances fore precipitation include overnight Friday, which has a chance of flurries, and Monday's slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
So far this month, Tulsa received 0.38 of an inch of liquid precipitation, which includes rain, melted ice and snow, and 0.1 of an inch of frozen precipitation. Tulsa's normal rainfall for this time of February is 0.70 of an inch.
