A woman has been booked into the Tulsa Jail in connection with the abduction of a 4-year-old Bixby boy.
Natasha Hoch, 31, of Bixby was arrested Monday night on kidnapping, larceny of a motor vehicle and larceny from a house complaints.
The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety announced that Justin Poindexter was taken from a residence in the 11000 block of South 87th East Avenue about 4 p.m. Monday and issued an Amber Alert.
According to Hoch’s arrest report, while Bixby police were responding to a possible burglary report at the home, officers were informed that a child was missing from the residence.
Justin’s father, Joshua Andre, told police that after returning home from work, he noticed that his 2001 Honda Civic was missing and that the garage had been ransacked, the report says. He also told police that Justin and Hoch, his roommate and babysitter, were not in the home.
Hoch was arrested at the Kum & Go at 10010 Riverside Parkway in Tulsa about 9 p.m. Monday after police received a tip from a woman who was with Hoch and Justin in Andre’s vehicle after hearing the Amber Alert message on the radio, the report says.
Justin was taken into protective custody. Hoch is in the Tulsa Jail in lieu of $32,500 bond.
