Sara Marie Basquez was born August 7, 1988 in Tulsa and passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 in McAlester at the age of 24. Sara was a 2007 graduate of Morris High School and moved to McAlester where she worked at Bath and Body Works and was a babysitter. Sara was also a licensed phlebotomist. She loved hunting and the outdoors and will be remembered as a great mother and loving person. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
