Jenks point guard Jessica Washington has been named a McDonald's All-American, one of the highest distinctions given to a high school player.

Washington, who has signed with North Carolina, was among 24 seniors named to the girls rosters announced Thursday afternoon. She will play on the West team, and future teammates Diamond DeShields and Stephanie Mavunga are on the East.

The game will be played April 3 in Chicago.

The 2012 Tulsa World All-Metro Player of the Year, Washington is the fourth girls player in Oklahoma to become a McDonald's All-American.

The others are Richa Jackson of Midwest City (2010) and Alyssia Brewer (2008) and Earnesia Williams (2005), both of Sapulpa.
