Thomas Johnson Neal, 59, passed away February 11, 2013, after a sudden, brief battle with cancer which took his life. He was born November 20, 1953, to Bob R. and Norma Jean Johnson Neal of Tulsa. Tom, as he was known to others, attended Marquette Catholic School, Cascia Hall Middle School and Edison High School where he graduated in 1972. As a young man, he moved from Tulsa to Bixby where he purchased and operated a farm and ranch, raising cattle and pursuing a passionate interest in raising and riding horses. During his time there, he also owned and operated the Bixby Feed Mill. He later earned a diesel mechanical and HVAC degree from Okmulgee Technical School and worked for Amoco in Tulsa. He retired as manager of HVAC and Maintenance ftom Halliburton where he worked in the Republic of Djibouti in Northeast Africa. Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors in general. Friends and family will always remember him as a good guy who always helped out anyone who needed it. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob R. Neal, two sons, Bob Neal and Mitch Neal and his granddaughter Addison Neal. He is survived by his wife, Jessica; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Angela Neal of Tulsa, son, Tom Neal Jr. of Tulsa and grandchildren Isaac, Maylee and Josiah Neal. He is also survived by his mother, Norma Jean (Twink) Johnson Neal Yost of Tulsa, his sister, Marci Neal Bain of Tulsa and brothers Robin R. Neal, of Scottsdale, Arizona and Jeff C. Neal of Tulsa. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Stanleys Funeral Service, 3959 E. 31st St. Services will be Saturday, February 16, at 10 a.m., at The Church of St. Mary, 1349 E. 49th Place, Tulsa.
