Altus police officers arrested after six-month investigation

ALTUS — Two veteran police officers were arrested Thursday afternoon after a six-month investigation, according to a news release from Altus Police Department.
Officer Russell Hansel, a 17-year veteran of the department, was arrested on charges of grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.
Officer Jose Arce, an 11-year veteran, was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit a felony.
No further details regarding their charges were released.
