Homicide ruled in death of man at Norman fire

NORMAN — Investigators said a man found dead at a Norman home that burned was shot before the fire began.
Officials said Thursday that 51-year-old Patrick. D. Burton was shot at the scene Wednesday and that his pickup truck was missing from his home.
Oklahoma City television station KOCO reports that police are looking for a white 2004 Chevrolet pickup with tag Oklahoma number 088AXL.
The truck has white, louvered taillight covers with white louvered covers over the rear side windows, a NASCAR license plate on the front bumper, a cow bell hanging from the rear bumper and a hard, white bed cover.
