17-6 overall, 6-6 Big 12
Catching up: On Wednesday, the 25th-ranked Cowgirls pulled away from West Virginia in the second half and went on to win 64-54. It marked the first time since 2010 since OSU has won three Big 12 conference road games. Up next is Kansas State at 4 p.m. Saturday in Stillwater.
Player of the week: Against the Mountaineers, freshman Brittney Martin had a career-high 21 points and keyed a 10-2 run that helped her team put the game away.
Notes
Bias hits milestone: With two steals, OSU point guard Tiffany Bias became the third player in program history to reach 1,000 points, 500 assists and 200 steals.
Bias and Toni Young have more than 1,000 points in their careers, giving the Cowgirls two 1,000-point scorers on the same roster for the first time since 2008-09, when Andrea Riley and Shaunte' Smith played together.
Sharing is caring: With Martin's 21 points against West Virginia, seven players have led the team in scoring in a game this season.
