Miami man dies in Ottawa County motorcycle crash

A Miami man is dead following a Saturday morning motorcycle crash.
Larry Linn Conley, 43, left a business one mile west of Miami on U.S. Highway 69 at County Road 120 around 12:30 a.m. on a Harley Davidson and accelerated onto the highway, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Conley failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle departed the road to the right and overturned. He was ejected about 35 feet west from the bike’s point of rest, troopers said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers detected the odor of alcohol and stated driving under the influence as the cause of the crash.
Conley was not wearing a helmet, troopers said.
