The parents of a former Broken Arrow man whose death in Florida remains unsolved will appear on the “Dr. Phil” show on Monday, his father said Sunday.

The parents of Alex Teehee, 20, who died after being struck by a vehicle in 2008 in Port Charlotte, Fla., will appear on the show.

Ralph Loosman Jr. was arrested in March 2010 and charged in connection with Teehee’s death.

Charges were dropped in 2010 after two key witnesses disappeared.

A website, “Justice for Alex Teehee” has since been created.

Teehee’s father, Tab Teehee, said Sunday that the family spent many years in Broken Arrow before moving to Florida, and still has family in the Tulsa area.

“We’re hoping that this (TV appearance) will generate some interest in the case,” Tab Teehee said by telephone. “We’re still looking for answers from the criminal justice system.”

The show will air at 4 p.m. on KOTV-Channel 6.
