Watch a narrated aerial tour of Grand Lake on Google Earth. Play the Weigh-In challenge contest and win prizes. Read all our coverage and watch videos of the anglers discussing the event.
1972 - Don T. Butler of Tulsa: A lifelong friend of BASS founder Ray Scott, Butler was the first member of the Bass Angler Sportsman Society. He won on Percy Priest Reservoir in Kentucky in 1972. In those days the Classic location was secret until the top 26 anglers boarded an airplane on the way to the tournament.
1986 - Charlie Reed of Broken Bow: Reed is the oldest angler ever to win a Classic at age 51 in 1986. In his relatively short BASS career, the Classic was his only tournament victory.
1991 - Ken Cook of Meers: A state fisheries biologist, Cook came up through the BASS Federation Nation and went pro after winning the 1980 Bassmaster Chapter Championship on Grand Lake O' The Cherokees.
