The Sooners make a potentially dangerous trip to Lawrence. Kansas is one of the most resilient teams in the Big 12 Conference, something the Jayhawks proved last Wednesday night at TCU.

KU trailed the Horned Frogs 49-27 at the half before roaring back to win 76-75. Carolyn Davis scored the game-winner with 12 seconds remaining, but it was guard Monica Engelman who fueled the comeback with 18 of her career-high 26 points in the second half.

It marked the Jayhawks' second one-point victory in Big 12 play - they won at West Virginia 60-59 Jan. 5 - to go with their back-to-back overtime wins over Iowa State and Kansas State Jan. 30 and Feb. 2.

The Sooners need a bounceback from their 72-68 loss to Iowa State Thursday night. They also need to protect themselves in the Big 12 race. OU enters today's game tied with Texas Tech for third place at 8-4. Second-place Iowa State is 9-4. Both the Red Raiders and the Cyclones play at home today (Tech hosts Texas, ISU hosts West Virginia), so OU likely needs to win to keep pace.
