Softball: OSU splits pair

Oklahoma State defeated Dayton 4-2 following a 1-0 eight-inning loss to Nebraska-Omaha in the Lovelace Invitational at Denton, Texas.
OSU pitcher Kat Espinosa struck out 11 batters in 7 1/3 innings of work. Allie Matthewson's hit off the fence in left center field scored the winning run for UNO.
Taylor Woodall blasted a second-inning grand slam to lift OSU (4-4) past Dayton in the second game.
