Tulsa senior Chris O'Hare broke the NCAA collegiate record at the Wanamaker Mile at the 106th Millrose Games in New York, finishing with a time of 3:52.98 to earn a fourth-place showing against some of the world's best athletes.
O'Hare's time of 3:52.98 obliterated the time of 3:54.54 set last year at the Millrose Games by BYU's Miles Batty. O'Hare's mark also is the second fastest time by a British athlete, and shattered his old personal best of 3:56.48.
