Charles L. “Charlie” Moore, 75, passed away February 9th in Novato, CA. Mr. Moore’s formative years were spent in Tulsa. Attending John Burroughs grade school, Roosevelt Jr. High school and Central High School. He graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in 1960 where he was an outstanding athlete. After college his athletic ability took him to California where he was given a tryout 3 years running with the Oakland Raiders never to make the team and fulfill his dreams of playing pro- fessional football. He owned and operated C. L. Moore & Associates Independent Insurance Agency in Novato. He is survived by his three children, Melissa Thompson (Rick) of Fairfield, CA, Brent Moore (Dana) of Novato and Brian Moore of Rohnert Park, CA. Also surviving are grandchildren Damon and Collin Moore, brother Richard Moore (Doris) of Granbury, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service is pending after burial in Tahlequah, OK.
