Albert William “Mac” McMurray, Jr. was born in Maud, Oklahoma on December 22, 1927 to his parents, Albert and Pearl Mc- Murray. Surrounded by his family, Mac passed away peacefully today, Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 85. Mac was a proud member of the 45th infantry division of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He was born in an oil patch and spent the majority of his life working in the petroleum industry. Mac retired from Sun Oil Company after 38 years where he was a pipeline controller in Tulsa. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Sue, of the home; his children, Cathy Hopkins, of Oklahoma City, David McMurray, of Palacios, TX, and Kari Losh, of Maumelle, AR; his sister, Catherine Westbrook, of Tulsa. Mac and Sue are proud grandparents of seven and great grandparents of 26 children Service 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Ninde Brookside Chapel. Interment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
