A Broken Arrow man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Ottawa County early Sunday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Dead is Dayton Wilson, 21.
Wilson was a passenger in a 2010 Dodge Avenger driven by Zachary Wofford, 26, of Tulsa, heading west on Interstate 44 two miles east of Afton about 2 a.m. when the vehicle struck a concrete barrier, the OHP said.
The vehicle continued into a ditch and rolled three times before coming to a stop on its wheels, troopers said.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene..
Another passenger in the vehicle, Heiu Nhut Nhan, 24, also of Broken Arrow, was not injured. Wofford, who troopers said apparently fell asleep at the wheel, refused treatment at the scene.
All three men were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, troopers said.
