A Tulsa man was arrested Saturday after allegedly breaking into a woman's apartment and placing a gun to her mouth.

Khanthanou Phengphongsavan, 30, was taken into custody on complaints of first-degree burglary, domestic assault and battery, and pointing a deadly weapon with intent, according to his arrest report.

A woman called police at 7:38 p.m. to report Phengphongsavan kicked in her apartment door in the 7800 block of South Utica Avenue and was armed with a gun, the report said. She said he sent her threatening text messages prior to arriving at the apartment.

Phengphongsavan is accused of pushing the woman against a wall and placing what appeared to be a small semiautomatic handgun to her mouth, the report said.

The report noted that Phengphongsavan told the woman "she deserved all that was coming to her," before a person intervened. The woman was not physically injured, police said.

Phengphongsavan was later arrested by police at his home in the 12000 block of East 40th Street.

He is being held in the Tulsa Jail on $80,000 bail.
