SAPULPA – A structure fire Sunday night damaged three buildings and resulted in one injury, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to a storage building at 9 N. Birch St. around 10:30 p.m. and found flames shooting 30-feet into the air, said Assistant Fire Chief Dave Taylor.

A vacant home nearby and Selena’s Steak House, which is immediately south of the storage building, also sustained fire damage, he said.

Crews contained the blaze within 10 minutes.

The storage building, which measured approximately 15 feet by 30 feet, was a total loss.

The Sapulpa fire marshal will determine whether the fire was suspicious in nature and how it originated, Taylor said.

A woman fleeing the restaurant broke her arm when she fell in the parking lot.
