An Owasso man has been charged with distributing and possessing child pornography.
Tulsa County prosecutors filed the charges against Adolphius Webster, 31, on Tuesday.
Webster was arrested by Tulsa County sheriff's deputies Feb. 13 and was booked into the Tulsa Jail on complaints of distribution of child pornography and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act, jail records show. He has since posted $10,500 bond and was released from custody Saturday.
Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force agents traced activities through an Internet protocol address and determined that Webster was downloading child pornography from a home in the 1100 block of 112th Street North, the arresting officer said in an arrest report.
During interviews with investigators, Webster confessed to having viewed child pornography but said he was not aware that he had been sharing files, the report alleges.
The officer wrote that Webster said he "hears voices telling him to harm himself and others."
