We have heard about the possible impact of the sequestration, and how it costs the military and Medicare.
The things that sequestration really should make happen:
1. An immediate reduction in pay and a reduction in staff for all congressmen;
2. A cancellation of all foreign aid programs - these are taxpayer dollars sent to foreign countries, many of which don't like us. Since it is taxpayer dollars they should be used for the taxpayers first.
3. The parking of "Air Force One." Every time it goes out it cost the taxpayers millions of dollars just for a 15-minute speech somewhere.
4. An immediate reduction in the federal bureaucracy, closing nonessential programs.
5. Cancellation of all federally funded study programs until they are reviewed to see if they are really necessary.
