Softball: OU's Gascoigne honored

Oklahoma senior Michelle Gascoigne's performance at last weekend's Campbell/Cartier Classic in San Diego has netted her Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors. It's the first time in her career that Gascoigne has won the award. Gascoigne posted a 3-0 record and gave up one earned run in 18.2 innings for a 0.38 ERA. She also struck out 36 and walked two as she threw two shutouts and combined on another.
