Junior guard Aaryn Ellenberg led the way with 18 points as Oklahoma defeated Kansas State in women's college basketball Wednesday in Norman.
Senior forward Joanna McFarland recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for OU (19-7, 9-5 in Big 12), while junior center Nicole Griffin scored in double-figures for the seventh consecutive game, totaling 14 points.
Oklahoma shot 52.5 percent from the field in the game.
The Sooners opened the second half with a 12-5 run in which all five starters scored to take a 44-26 lead. The OU lead stretched to 27 (66-39) with 4:23 left in the game.
Brittany Chambers led Kansas State (13-13, 4-10) with 21 points.
The Sooners return to action Saturday at Oklahoma State at 2 p.m. for round two of Bedlam. OU defeated the Cowgirls, 80-61, in Norman on Feb. 10.
