Pure Freedom Live! comes to Mabee Center

Doors open at Pure Freedom Live! at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Mabee Center, 7777 S Lewis Ave.
The 2 1/2-hour event is focused on moms and their teen daughters and bridging the communication gap. The gameshow-meets-talkshow event includes Bible teaching and "a whole lot of insanity."
The show's highlight is a surprise: either Trunk Monkey Explosion or Pure Freedom's "Truth or Bare" fashion show.
Led by best-selling author Dannah Gresh, Pure Freedom Live! is designed to shed light on the topics that confront girls in present culture.
Gresh's work includes "And the Bride Wore White," "Lies Young Women Believe" with co-author Nancy Leigh DeMoss, and most recently, "Six Ways to Keep the Little in Your Girl" and "Six Ways to Keep the Good in Your Boy."
