I was greatly saddened to learn of the passing of my very dear friend Larry Payton. I never had a better friend. Larry was one of the finest human beings I have ever known. He was a fine Christian man, husband and father and will be greatly missed.
He loved Tulsa with a passion and served it his entire life from his days as an official of Tulsa University to the phenomenal success of his company, Celebrity Attractions. Everything he could do to benefit and advance Tulsa he was happy to do. He will never be forgotten. My heart and my prayers go out to his wife, Kay, and his family.
