Del City pair charged with killing Norman man

NORMAN — Two Del City residents have been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a Norman man.
Online court records show 24-year-old Christopher King and 19-year-old Mary Courtney York were charged Friday in Cleveland County District Court for the Feb. 13 death of 51-year-old Patrick Burton. Both are also charged with arson and King is charged with stealing Burton's pickup truck.
Both are being held without bond. Court records do not list an attorney for either.
Documents filed in the case allege that York knew the victim and arranged a meeting with him and that King shot Burton.
Prosecutors say they haven't decided whether to seek the death penalty.
