Why do elected officials not pay any attention to what the people want? Please allow the people to vote on the horse slaughter issue. No one said a word about all the horses that will be stolen to be slaughtered. This legislation could lose Oklahoma a lot of money. All the horse show people might go elsewhere to show their horses.
Anyone who cares about their elderly horse will have it humanely put down. Those who do not care about their animals are not going to bother to take them to slaughter anyway.
