1920 - 2013 Francis Martha Webb passed away on February 19, 2013, at her home in Tulsa at the age of 92. Francis was born on July 1, 1920, in Drumright, Oklahoma, to parents Frank Willard Davis and Nora Leo Davis. The family moved to Cushing where she was raised and graduated from Cushing High School in 1937. Wed in 1938 in Perkins, Oklahoma, Francis and Pat J. Webb enjoyed 67 years together before his death in 2006. After Pat’s service in the Navy the couple traveled the United States with his work as a Journeyman Electrician. They settled in Tulsa in the early’50’s where two children, Thomas (Tom) Ray Webb and Patricia Webb, were raised. Francis was a stay-athome mom while her children were small, before working at Amoco as Assistant Penthouse Manager until her retirement in 1983. Francis enjoyed gardening and cooking and using her sharp mind and wit in crossword puzzles and games, which she played with her children and grandchildren. In later years, she enjoyed the companionship of her canine friend Trixie. Francis was a charter member of Southern Hills Baptist Church. People often described her as being a beautiful woman whose gentle, kind ways inspired many to lead a good life. She believed that prayers and hard work lead to having a blessed life and that everything is beautiful in its own way. Francis Webb was preceded in death by her parents, F. W. “Bill” and Nora Davis; her husband, Pat J. Webb; her sister, Margaret Wilson; brothers, Bob Davis and Bill Davis; and her beloved son, Tom Webb. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Webb of the home, her daughter-in-law, Barbara Webb, Langley; grandchildren Valerie Webb, Colorado; Teresa Webb, Tulsa; great-grandchildren, Majeda and Ash Fares, their two children and Miranda Zeinab, all of Colorado. Memorial donations may be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice. Other survivors are numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013, Moore’s Southlawn Chapel.
