Biggest bet of the weekend: Basketball: As the push for postseason positioning continues, Tulsa, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma each play home games.

The Hurricane hosts Tulane at 3:05 p.m. at the Reynolds Center. The game is not on TV.

The No. 15 Cowboys host Texas at 3 p.m. at Gallagher-Iba Arena. The game can be seen on ESPN, cable 25.

The Sooners host Iowa State at 4 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center.

Bob Wills Birthday Celebration: Every year since his death in 1975, Cain's Ballroom has celebrated Bob Wills' big day that celebrates the history of Western swing as much as it does the man who helped make it - and Cain's Ballroom - so famous. Wills was born March 6, 1905.

The Texas Playboys featuring Leon Rausch and Tommy Allsup and The Round Up Boys will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday during a night of Western swing and dancing.

PAC shows: The Lost Wax Multimedia Dance company performs "Particular," a full-length work that explores conformity and individuality, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Tulsa Opera's production of "The Most Happy Fella" continues with performances 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

August Wilson's "Radio Golf" concludes its run with performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

And "Of Mice and Men," presented by American Theatre Company, has performances set for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Rudner performs at The Venetian in Las Vegas, where she has sold more than 1 million tickets. In 2008, "Rita Rudner: Live from Las Vegas" was PBS' first stand-up comedy special.

Reiser is an Emmy-nominated actor and starred in the hit NBC series "Mad About You." He has received Golden Globe, American Comedy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations.

'Hairspray': "Hairspray," the family-friendly musical that has won eight Tony Awards, will be at the Tulsa Convention Center through March 10. This weekend's performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The musical "follows the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad as her dreams come true and she is transformed from social outcast to sudden star," according to the Convention Center's website. "Hairspray" is based on the 1988 John Waters film by the same name.

Outdoor Sporting Expo: The Outdoor Sporting Expo will be at the Claremore Expo Center, 400 Veterans Parkway in Claremore, from Friday through Sunday. Numerous exhibitors and vendors featuring fishing, hunting, hiking and other outdoor equipment and services will be at the event. Seminars, celebrity appearances and giveaways also will be part of the event.

Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission $10 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors and free for kids younger than 10. Sunday admission is half-price.

Consignment sale: The annual Just Between Friends spring consignment sale runs Sunday through March 9 at the Exchange Center Building at the Expo Center, 4145 E. 21st St.

Items on sale include new and gently used children's clothing, toys, electronics, books, baby equipment and furniture. The event offers savings from 50 percent to 90 percent off retail prices.

Sunday hours are 1 to 7 p.m. Admission is $10 on Sunday but free the remaining days of the sale.

Tulsa Opera: The final performance of Tulsa Opera's production of "The Most Happy Fella," Frank Loesser's lyric drama about an unusual romantic triangle set in the 1950s Napa Valley, is set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Tulsa PAC, 101 E. Third St.

Comedy, music and horses are on the calendar this weekend.

Extraordinary Women conference

Extraordinary Women Ministries brings its Ewomen Conference to the Mabee Center, 7777 S. Lewis Ave., Friday and Saturday, March 1-2.

"Extraordinary Women exists to help draw women closer to the heart of God," according to its website. Speakers at the event will include Bible teachers, worship leaders and a comedian. Natalie Grant will perform a concert on Friday.

Conference sessions are schedule for 7 to 10 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Registration is $69.

Margaret Hudson garage sale

The Margaret Hudson Program indoor garage sale is set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 2, at its Broken Arrow Campus Activity Center, 751 W. Knoxville St.

Items for sale will include men's, women's and children's clothes and accessories, as well as toys, books, dishes, housewares and household decorations.

All proceeds from the garage sale will go to the Tulsa Area United Way.

The Margaret Hudson Program provides education and services to pregnant and parenting teen moms. The program has campuses in Tulsa and Broken Arrow.

Green Country March Mania Paint Horse Show

The Green Country March Mania Paint Horse Show will be at the Super Duty Arena at Expo Square, 4145 E. 21st St., Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3. Doors open at 8 a.m. daily.

Attendees can watch any of the numerous competitions scheduled over the two days of the event.

Admission is free.
