Robert R. (Bob) Stephens and
Barbara Evelyn Stephens of
Tulsa celebrated their 60th
wedding anniversary February
23, 2013. They were honored
with a luncheon at the
University Village Theater in
Tulsa. The event was hosted by
their family.
The couple married February
22, 1953, near Adair. They have
two children: son, Denny and
wife, Karen Stephens of
Columbus, Ohio and daughter,
Denise and husband, Mark
Hanoch of Tulsa.
Bob Stephens retired April
1973 after serving 22 years in
the military (five years Navy
and 17 years Air Force).
Following his retirement from
the Air Force he served 15 years
as food service director at
Hillcrest Medical Center in
Tulsa. Evelyn Stephens is a
homemaker.
