Helen Jewel Brooks, 92, born July 14, 1920, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. She was the widow of Robert W. Brooks. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandson, Jeremy Jones; and son-in-law, Darrell Christian. She is survived by her two children, Randy Brooks (Lou) and Roberta Christian, both of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Shawn Christian, Jennifer Brown , and Jamie Oliphant; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Helen was a loving mother, consummate homemaker, including wonderful cook and seamstress and had worked as a cashier. She loved dancing, beautiful flowers, steel guitars, gospel and country music, attending church and she was a life-long Christian. Member of Eastwood Baptist Church. She will be missed. Service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel.
