STILLWATER – Oklahoma State University's Stillwater campus will be closed Tuesday due to winter weather, its Communications Office announced Monday night.
In addition, all Northern Oklahoma College campuses -- at Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater -- will be closed Tuesday, Director of Public Information Bill Johnson announced late Monday.
OSU Director of Communications Gary Shutt announced the OSU closing in a campuswide email about 9:40 p.m.
The Weather Channel predicts that snow will continue to fall in Stillwater overnight, with 5-8 inches expected by Tuesday morning.
Payne County, the location of OSU's main campus, is under a winter storm warning until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Campus and community transit will not operate Tuesday. BOB -- the Big Orange Bus -- which runs between OSU-Tulsa and the Stillwater campus, also will not run Tuesday.
Shutt said a decision about Wednesday’s schedule would be announced as soon as possible on Tuesday.
