The state Department of Agriculture reported the following prices Monday at the Oklahoma City Stockyards:
Receipts: 3,700; week ago: 8,554; year ago: 13,468.
Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested, but limited sales sharply lower. This lower market due to the blizzard in western and northwestern Oklahoma that show down travel. With only about 30 head of cows and bulls available on the yards, there is not enough to test the slaughter cow and bull market this week. Tuesday's sale is canceled due to weather conditions.
