When I was in the third grade in Broken Arrow, I'm pretty sure that if my reading teacher had had a concealed weapon at least half of us wouldn't have survived third grade. She was the meanest person I've ever met in my life and I had nightmares about her for decades.
What makes anyone think that teachers are some kind of perfect people? Don't they suffer from depression and bipolar disease, too?
The Feb. 9 paper had yet another story of a teacher, a football coach from Liberty this time, charged with molesting a student. Sure wish he had a gun, huh?
