ORU's Luper honored by league again

Senior guard Kevi Luper of Oral Roberts University was named the Southland Conference women's basketball player of the week for the second consecutive week and the fifth time this season.
Luper scored 33 points in her only game last week, helping ORU beat Central Arkansas 76-69. She cracked the 30-point barrier for the 25th time in her career.
If Luper wins a sixth player of the week award this season, she will tie a Southland single-season record. She has won 19 player of the week awards while competing in the Summit League and the Southland Conference.
Luper leads the Southland with averages of 19.0 points and 2.5 steals.
