Virginia Caroline Bussman, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 22, 2013, in Cheney, KS. She was a beloved homemaker, mother, and nurse. She was born May 29, 1927, in Fanshawe, OK, the daughter of Harry and Lela Lane (Askew) Glenn. On September 14, 1946, she married R.F. “Pete” Bussman in Tulsa, OK and they made their home in Turley, OK. Survived by: son, Rick and Derinda Bussman, Great Bend, KS; daughters, Susan and Gerald Pace, Tulsa, OK, Barbara and Mike Ast, Garden Plain, KS, Deedee and Kevin Harrison, Buford, GA; brother, Henry and Wanda Glenn, Tishomingo, OK; sister-in-law, Bertha Lou Glenn, Tulsa, OK; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Curtis Glenn. Viewing with family present, Thursday, February 28, 2013, 6- 7 p.m., Turley United Methodist Church, Turley, OK. Funeral service, Friday, March 1, 2013, 10:30 a.m., Turley United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S.
