Zane Franklin Porter, 79 years of age, went to be with the Lord and his beautiful wife, Shirla on February 24, 2013. He was born April 1, 1933, to Charlie and Ethel Porter in St. Louis, OK. After his military service in the Army as a helicopter mechanic he became an Insurance Adjuster for Farm Bureau. His favorite past time was taking his children and their friends to rodeos all across Oklahoma. He also carried a deep passion for horses and horse racing. He was preceded by his wife Shirla A. Porter, parents Charlie and Ethel Porter, brother Kenneth Porter and grandson Wesley Porter. He is survived by his six children Kerry A Porter, Tina R. Porter, Tony J. Porter, Terry Z. Porter, Traci Porter Price, Timmy Porter. His brothers Jack Porter and Charles Porter and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. We all will love and miss you. Service will be held at Floral Haven on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 10:00 AM. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
