Regarding Charlotte Clark's Feb. 15 letter, "When does life start?":
Life is not only a physical event, but a spiritual one. In the Bible, angels appear to counsel about the beginning of new life. And so it happens today. In all creatures of nature, mothers hear their angels and make decisions for the beginning and sometimes against the beginning of new life.
