Why do we have a green waste sticker tax? The city requires that green waste placed curbside must be in transparent bags. That requirement allows trash haulers to see that the bag contains green waste. Why in the world is it necessary for a transparent bag to also require a sticker identifying the contents as green waste?
I think we are getting stuck with the city requiring us to pay 50 cents per bag to identify what is readily visible.
I love government being transparent with its tax schemes.
